Guitar fueled environs are Phil Hill's realm of existence. Whether performing on acoustic or electric it does not seem to matter. His twisted blues sculpturing has grabbed the ears of listeners for over twenty years. Years of ears. Like some exotic life forms however, he does not breed well in captivity. Fortunately in the past couple of years he has reluctantly began recording some of his unique stylings.

As captivating as the melodies are, the lyrical musings of this rather peculiar being never fail to garner attention. Occasionally light hearted, often too deep for commercial strip mining, the reflectively hand tinted macabre world within which he dances & dodges is revealed.

Consumate rebel, grump riddled pacifist, loving pugilist, dog without bone. We love it and know you will too.

Phil Hill performs his own brand of original blues oriented acoustic music intermittantly at Javanican Coffee House . He has just released his latest CD "11/40 Night's Wrest" and his first album "Keeper" is available at Javanican as well.
